The fabrics are sourced from suppliers who respect people and nature alike. Meaning 100% organic materials and fair work conditions. More on those certificates further below.

Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) is aiming at improving working conditions in the textile industry. The initiative is bundling the Interests of NGOs, unions and trade
The participating companies commit to implement the FWF work-codex:
No child labour, the right to unionize, no excessive work hours, safe work environments and wages, that support the livelihood of a family.
The FWF supports the companies to improve work conditions of their contractors as well.

The International Working Group on Global Organic Textile introduced their Standard of strict ecological criteria in 2006 and keeps on updating it eversince.
It is exclusively meant for textiles from natural fibers. The standard defines the requirements along the entire value added chain.
It also defines social standards including the payment of minimum wages.
In case your shirt is so worn down, that you dont want to be seen in public with it anymore..please dont throw it away!
A lot of recources and effort went into making it.
You could instead:

- wear it when fixing your bike
- use it to clean your bike
